Grounds of Being Fellowship
The Grounds of Being Research Fellowship, established jointly by the Divinity Students Association and Grounds of Being, will be awarded annually to support a student in any program within the Divinity School who is pursuing research or supplementary training in their academic field during the summer. It is intended to support projects related to the academic work of the student, but not necessarily required for the completion of their degree. One fellowship of $1000 will be available each summer to assist with travel, living, and research expenses during the course of the project.
Eligibility
Must be a registered Divinity School student.
Eligible projects include, but are not limited to, ethnographic research, archival research, as well as summer seminars for research, professional, and vocational development. Fellows will be asked to present their research project, continuing or completed, to an audience of their peers in Fall Quarter.
Note: This fellowship cannot be used toward the completion of credits in French or German required for MA and Ph.D. students.
